- Perform close readings of fiction in order to understand and articulate the ideas conveyed.
- Engage in thematic and formal analysis of fiction
- Articulate interpretive analyses of fictional texts
Prerequisites: ENGL 1301, ENGL 1302. Critical study of and writing about a variety of short stories and novels. Writing required.
